It’s day three of the Smokey and the Bandit Run. Word came late last night that the scheduled appearance of Burt Reynolds is not to be.
The word among the Runners is that Burt is sick and will not be able to attend.
This is a major disappiontment to some, but most take the news in stride.
The end of the run approaches. From my observations, no one is having a bad time, with the possible exception of one 16 year old traveling in a Trans Am with her Father.
Go figure.
